Why if once you pop you cannot stop do they give you a resealable lid on Pringles?

I reckon it's a ploy escape the wrath of the healthy eating brigade.

These people take great exception to anything that is not green, water based or made of soya. They will pounce and suck the life out of anyone who dares to eat a chip or has the sheer audacity to eat an indian takeaway.

The Pringles lid is a perfect disguise. They deliberately make addictive crisps that you can't stop eating but produce a lid that gives the impression that they are encouraging moderation. They are not opening encouraging us to eat the whole can!!!!!

When the snack food assassins swoop, they can use it as their defence.

If they didn't give you a lid someone would probably sue them when they got obese and say it was because they had to eat all the Pringles because there was no lid to store them.
