When we first went out he was worried I wouldn't want him to kiss me in public. I said I'm not into that, but would like a bit of contact with him...am I being clingy?

no of course not, you're just trying to share some TLC (tender loving care) with him and show him how you feel. I think that's wonderful and I envy the pair of you. Maybe he's just very shy ... I was the same with my last GF, although that's a LONG time ago now ... and took me a lot of Dutch courage PLUS some help from her to take the lead and once done, it was fine so try talking to him too if you haven't done already and don't worry, things will work out just fine I'm sure. :)

No you are by any means being clingy. And there is nothing wrong with you wanting to do that. It is a good sign that you enjoy his company. So please do not allow some numb-nut to stop you from feeling and gaining the security of holding hand. Some of these people and answers show that some of these people have lost out on parts of their humanity and the true meaning of sharing love.

if he is already worried about kissing you in public then I think that you are not too clingy.. I think that you just need to hold his hand and not worry about it.. most people hold hands on the first or second date.. I don't think that there is a certain time when you are supposed to start holding hands...

NO! You are not being too clingy! Whats wrong with wanting you're boufriend to hold your hand in public. It's affectionate and shows everyone that you care about each other.

Why do you not want to kiss him though? What are you afraid of? A little kiss in public can be really nice.lol

Good luck hon

PS....if he doesn't want to hold your hand in public then let him go...xxxxxx

No its not clingy!! Affection is cute - kissing in public can be a bit embarrassing - where as hand holding is grand!!!
next time youre walking with him just take his hand - being honest, he probably wont even register you've done it!!!

No its not clingy - especially as you've already said you don't want to go around kissing him in public.
If you wouldn't ever let go of his hand, even when he needs it for something else, like scratching his nose - then that would be clingy!

Relax girl and enjoy it!

Of course not! There's nothing wrong in wanting to be affectionate with your mate in public, especially just holding hands. It might be better for your relationship to even kiss in public.

No. The key is, be playful. Don't make it seem like you're scared to hold his hand. Run up to him, give him a hug, or if you are not ready, just grab his hand and pull him somewhere to show him something....you know, just be calm and cute about it. Let him take over after that.

no your not clingy, your loving, and as for the kissing thing that just being modest. clingy would be if you phoned him 20 times a day, glued your self to his side, didnt let him go out with his friends, and got upset if he talked to other girls.
