You must call the Argentine Consultate in Washington DC for the paperwork necessary to apply for a visa. There is almost always a fee to get a foreign visa and you, of course, must have a current passport which you will have to include with your application. The application is very self-explanatory but takes time so you better get busy.

If you are an US citizen you do not ned a visa for visits of less that 3 months in duration. You may however need a round trip or onward ticket and funds to support yourself during your time in Argentina. Here is a link , please note that the US is listed first and not in alphabetical order in the list of countries whose nationals do not require a visa.
