Telling people what you want them to do is sometimes less effective then making them respond because of something dramatic. The God of the bible is cruel and I'm not surprised that he used his son in that way to make people react.

Mel Gibson's father does not believe that the holocaust actually happened. Does that change the fact that it did?
My grandparents died believing that we never did reach the moon but that NASA and the government put one over on us. Does that change the fact that we did go to the moon? (BTW, I know Frank Borman; we went there).
Just because some people don't believe in God and redemption through Jesus doesn't make it so. It is true, it is fact. Don't confuse what the Bible and faith in Jesus is. The Bible is a record of God's dealing with mankind on a spiritual level. Salvation in Jesus is a faith matter. Neither of these are scientific accounts. Science and the Bible do cross paths occasionally, and when they do, they don't conflict. In fact, Columbus was convinced the world was round because he read in the Bible that it was a sphere. Copernicus and Galileo were great scientist as was Albert Einstein and all believed in faith in Jesus and his salvation. In fact, many scientists have stated that the universe and all that exists is so ordered that it shows the greatness of God and not of chance. Some are Christians, others just adhere to a Supreme Being. Don't get confused.

Is this a question, or a statement ?
Jesus died for our Sins. We Know this because The Old Testament Prophesied His Coming, and His Death, and What He would Die for.
We also Know that He Came and Died for our Sins, because He said HE DID.
Lastly all of The New Testament attests to the fact that Christ Came, Died for our Sins, and arose from the Dead and Ascended to Heaven, and sits at the Father's Right Hand.

Yes, I believe that Jesus had to die for our sins. He was the only sacrifice that could wash away our sins, because he was the only one who lived a perfect life.
The Jews had religion before Jesus came. And it didn't help them. Religion only shows us how useless rules are to save us. It is only faith in God and obedience to Him that will get us into Heaven. If you follow rules of a religion in order to get to Heaven, then you are misguided, and it will be too late when you die. It is living in faith and obedience that is the hard part.

God created a place of perfection where only perfection may be, and it is the place of his throne and is called "heaven."
Nothing that is imperfect may ever enter it, it is completely perfect.
God created humans with free will, so that we could be companions and friends to God. But along the way, in our free will, we chose to become imperfect. We asserted our free will in a way that rebelled against our Creator and disqualified ourselves from fulfilling our true purpose...to dwell in His presence as kindred friends.
With free will comes responsibility, and accountability. With choices come consequences.
So God grieved for us.
And God's Son served God, and One Who dwelled in the presence of the Lord stepped down in an incomprehensible sacrifice, becoming human and experiencing humanity, and died a physical death to accomplish a Spiritual victory over death. And because of Him, we have been offered the greatest gift of all: Reconciliation with our Creator.
It is a free gift. You can not earn it. nothing you do will make you perfect enough to dwell in the presence of God. But something Christ does can cause you to regain the thing that was lost. Through the sacrifice of Christ, we may be cleansed.
Do not deny Christ. There is no other provision.

You'd better believe it...your eternal life depends upon it because thats what the bible says...Should we believe you or the Scripture?
Jesus said:
" I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life; no man can come to the Father except through me". -- Jesus Christ
" Neither is there salvation in any other; for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved". (Acts 4:12)
"... you shall die in your sins: for if you believe not that I am he (Mesiah, Son of God) you shall die in your sins". - Jesus (Jn. 8:24)
"Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is anti-Christ, that denies the Father and the Son. He that denies the Son, the same has not the Father." (I John 2:22)
" God is patient and longsuffering, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance". - From the bible

Because of sin, we are witnesses of the reality of sin and what it does. That is why God had to die to redeem us and he will come again and save us and rid the universe of sin, sinners and the devil Satan forever.
Before there was sin, no one knew really what it was it was just a bad thing. But sooner or later it would arise and Lucifer initiated it and therefore in God's infinite wisdom sin is allowed to be played out so that the character of God will be seen and that all the warning before was warranted.
Sin will never again rare its ugly head because God will not allow it again and we wont either because we see what it causes.
Even God had to pay for sin by the death of His only son, which was no ordinary death - no man or woman on earth every had that death - he died for the world everybody who died already died for themself.

Yes I really do believe that Jesus died on the Cross to save us from eternal damnation. Too bad that there weren't more people out there that believed that there was a higher person than themselves who really cares for us. The world would truly be a better place.

Life is not a game to God, we are not His puppets although He has the power He gave us free will. Jesus was the only sacrifice that could bridge the gap between God and man after the fall of man. U should be thanking Him, not doubting Him
