The slow way? Let her cry it out. It maybe another couple of months, but she'll stop.
The fast way? Introduce her to someone cute! That does it every time!

I was in this same situation for a while. It really hurts. That saying "The thing that hurts the most is watching the one you love, love someone else" is very true. The best thing right now, since it has been only 2 months since the breakup is to let her vent and talk about it. Either you or another one of her friends, needs to just sit and let her go for as long as it takes, maybe 2-3 hours or more about all the feelings she is feeling. My problem was i had no-one to talk to about all the jumbled feelings i had after the breakup, so it made it worse and it made it harder to get over. Once she has vented, she will eventually 'talk herself' over him. And the best thing for u to do will be to give her encouraging words along the way and remind her that everything happens for a reason and that if they are meant to be together, they will come back together. She cant rush it, she can only enjoy her life for now. It will all work out in the end.

Good Luck, and i wish ur friend the best.

These are some of the things you need to say to your friend, Thank God for helping her to get rid of bag rubbish!! And why would you waste one more tear, on someone who does not want you, every disappointment is for some good, that is something to remember. This is going to take time. But you have to be strong, God has bigger and better things in store for her, so get yourself together, and go out and have fun, take a class.

I feel for her. I had the same problem with my ex. I met someone new and STILL could not get over my ex. It took me probably about a year. But, everyone is different. Give her plenty of support and try not to bring up the subject too much. Just let her know you are there if she needs to talk. Obviously, he wasn't the ONE for her anyway and there are PLENTY of fish in the sea!! Good Luck!

Its hard very hard been there done it, theres nothing anyone can tell you we can give advice but it dont stop you from hurting but eventually you get other it (normally by meeting some 1 else) Just be there as a shoulder to cry on and try to take her mind off it and suggest things to do eventually she will see him for the swine he is.

What the blinkety blink do you want someone who doesnt love you in return? I lost someone that I truely believed that I loved and married a nice man to spite him. Big deal, he couldnt have cared less. We bumped into each other 20 years later and I took a good hard look at the one I thought I loved soooooooo much. I knew that I must have been out of my mind to care for this jerk. It It may sound trite but believe me, this feeling of love will pass.

yes, unrequited love is one of the worst heartbreak imaginable!
yes, time heals but during the process it may be helpful to consider how close the relationship...why the end of the relationship should have such a devastating effect and prevent her from taking steps to moving on.
yes, break-up is hard esp when you've given your heart to someone...however, in any relationship one shouldn't lose themselves...their sense of worth/identity...a person may be heartbroken but should always be able to 'continue on' and take even sm. steps to do so. a person grieves the demise of the relationship but realizes they did not 'die' w/ it!

Help her find other things to occupy her mind. Also, I try to think of every negative thing I can about the person, and then I feel that I am better off without them. Maybe that will work for her.

Time. It heels all wounds. It would help if you could find someone else for her - but they might object rather to getting her "on the rebound"
