The riddle:
What is special about this mathematical equation:
11 + 2 = 12 + 1
Give logic also. First correct logic gets 10 extra points.
FYI, the answer is not that its a valid mathematical equation. I am looking for something different. What? Just think.

They equal 13
11+2=13=12+1=13

You can switch the 2's and the 1's. You can switch it from looking like this 11+2=12+1 to looking like this 22+1=21+2. Both equations will still be correct.

Is it 11 raised to 2 gives 121
i.e. 11 squared gives 121
you have to remove the plus signs an place the 2 on the lhs as the power of 11

ie,if 1+12=12+1
then, + = + (1=1&12=12)
so,when we change the position of '+' by putting it after 1 1 there is no change in the value;
Therefor,11+2=12+1

13=13 that is a valid equation but an invalid answer to ur question
what is specail about this equation u may move the plus sign in any direction u want and it will still be a valid equation which 13=13, who said 13 is an unluky number??:p

so i think u have taken first of both numbersi.e. 1&2 & remaining u added so finally it became 12+1

i think special that if u write them or spell them the answer is 13 or 3

see.....
1. 11+2=13
2. 12+1=13
1. see special is that if take 1 from the 11 answer will be 1
2. and if u take 1 from the 12 it will be 2
3. then....... 1+2=3
2+1=3
4. see it is different....... because first answer was 13 of both equation but now 1 number is not there so answer is now 3!!!!!!!

Change the "+" to a "^" on the left side and remove the "+" from the right side and you have 11^2=121.
