drink as much water as you can. A lot of times when you think you are hungry, your body really just needs more water.
Also, try to eat some protein at every meal, it takes away the hunger pains, and remember that your body turns starches and carbs into sugar and you won't burn fat as quickly.
Then there's the old standby that everybody hates...exercise. It sucks, but it works.
I lost 75 pounds last year doing all of the above. Good luck and remember, just because you blow your diet for a meal, don't binge all day, just get right back on it immediately (instead of the next day). :)

I agree with Philena, b/c if you're exercising to lose weight you're body is constantly burning calories. Trust me, if you stop eating completely then when you do eat you may tend to overeat! Therefore, you need to eat. When you don't eat for a long time your body naturally will start to go into (starvation mode) holding on the body fat you already have because it doesn't know when you will eat again! This really makes it harder to lose weight even if you do exercise. The basic thing you always need to remember is modereration. You should eat to stop being hungry, not full.

It's good you want to change. If you really want to lose weight then study and learn about eating and living healthy. Mens Health magazine has a lot of great information every month for healthy living.
Stay away from eating out! Stay away from snacks! Learn to cook healthy. Exercises!
3 small meals a day. Fish, chicken breast, lean meat, small amount of carbs, and plenty of fruits and vegetables.
Then get your butt out there and exercise!

Make sure you are working out at least an hour a day. At 2 days on 1 day off, 2 days on 1 day off. Eat healthier foods. More lean protein.

Instead of focusing on eating less, try eating healthier foods, or filling foods. If you need to snack a lot, find foods that are very light and won't fatten you up. Or, drink more liquids. With more fluids in your belly there's less room for food!

Why are you trying so hard not to eat? You should be eating more food to lose weight.. not less..
