Without the land, earth could have just been covered with water. Living creatures on earth could have just lived in water then. Will there be human beings who could just live in water if that was the case?

Anyway, seriously talking the land is a major part of our existence. It is where we inhabit, agriculture, pasture animals, grow trees and make forests, build all sort of buildings and infrastracture, and everything you can think of. It gives us a place to live and a medium of supplies and needs for our survival.

Thinking of land as a property and a territory is another point to discuss. A land gives a great feeling of pride of possession of property. It is not consumable and if you own a land you got your rights over it and you can use it the way you want to . For farmers, it makes their life easier to work in their own lands. Land territory gives a sense of jurisdiction and power. How many lives were lost over conflicts on land territorial rights? How much destruction had resulted in dispute over a piece of land particularly in the Middle East?

You see, land is not just land as we see it. Land can be used in millions of different purposes but what matters most is the land association with livelihood, survival, jurisdiction, and power.

We cannot walk on water, right? It is not easy to live on waters as well, isn't it? So mainly, land is where we are supposed to live during our earthly existence.

Try to think of something that needs to be done and then try to imagine if it had to be done without the use of land.

No matter what the task is, there is a need for land. Sometimes it only takes a little such as the massive sky scrapers in New York where only a little land can get many jobs done. Most of the time it takes a lot when we are dealing with our food supplies. If you want to build a car, you will need to build a factory on land. Try to build a road that uses no land.

Your family must use land for the home you all live in. How about you. With out doing a thing but just being. Don't you need to use land? You are occupying space right now. Oh, but you are not on the land. You are in a balloon? Well how did you get there in the first place? The balloon had to travel on the land to its launch site and then it took some space on that land to get the balloon blown up and when you come down you may find land useful for when you "land".

Land is so very useful. Folks in the middle east are killing one another for just a little piece of it. The land in most of the rest of the world is becoming more and more useless; therefore, the peoples of those foreign lands are going to the USA to find better land.

Land is useful for all sorts of reasons! For one thing you can live on land. There would be no food if we did not have land. At least not enough for everyone. The world would face much more serious starvation problems than we do today. Land is useful for farming cattle, fruits, and vegetables. If we had no land farming wouldn't be possible. Land is useful because it supplies everything we need to go on happily with our lives. If we had no land, where our forests be? We wouldn't have oxygen with out the forests. Then what would you have to breath. We are currently cutting down too many trees as well as over fishing the oceans. People need everything the land provides for us to survive. The trees for oxygen, other pants for fruits and vegetables, and animals for meat, which a great source of protein. If we didn't have land none of this would be possible. Also about 75 percent of the rain we get is because of our Forrest's. There would be a very long drought if we had no land. Then again we wouldn't need rain because you would be swimming constantly.

Land is useful because that is where human beings are able to survive along with many other animals. If land did not exist, than neither would we. Also, we would not exist if it was not for certain plants and animals, we survive by using these plants and animals for many different resources in which these specific resources may only exist if there is land. For humans to be such high powered beings, we have to exist therefore so does land.

Land is one of the few items that can gain value as time goes on. Especially as cities grow, land becomes more and more in demand for neighborhoods, shopping centers, etc. A person who once owned farm land on the outskirts of town now has businesses and developers looking to buy it for much more than he paid for it initially.

Well consider the question you have asked. You are on land now, unless you are on a boat at sea. Land is vital to our survival, as I know that the oceans would be very cramped if we all had to live on boats. I really do not understand you question that well, but think that land is what makes us strong, as we could not survive in the sea. Besides, land is what makes the world beautiful.

I find land is useful as a place
to put my feet when I go to walk,
or a place to day down upon
when I wish to sleep. Without
land to walk on or lay on while
sleeping I guess I would have to
learn how to swim or fly.
