I have been using Skype since 2 years and had no problems till now. But now people say that Google Talk is even more better than anything else like Yahoo Messenger, Rediff Bol and Skype. But I have not tested all these as I feel Skype cannot be compared to anything else as they are the one who introduced the PC to PC calling for free concept. And I feel they have a better technology than others.

No problems generally. If your computer has got programs on it which are using your internet connection such as spyware or ad ware, you may have problems with your call. Its ok generally if you have an internet connection fast enough. Broadband preferably. I've been told it doesn't work on dial up very well. I've used Skype for over a year now.
