The Bible says that the God created man and breathe the breath of life into his nostrils and man became a living soul. The soul consists of both the body and mind. If you lost your soul then you are dead.

Look in the mirror. According to Genesis 2:7, you are a soul. the combination of the breath and the dust or body is a soul. Says man BECAME a living soul, not that he was given one as most will tell you. See it for yourself.

Are you actually looking to find your soul or your spirit ? If it is the spirit you are wanting to connect with ,it can be done by mediation
which all that is , is sitting very quietly and thinking calming thoughts like waves on the beach ...
Or trying to clear the mind of all thoughts { that one is tough but can be done little by little } I could be way off but if not try it and keep asking questions !!!
