It's a net of computers united to share information, called servers, and lots of clients (us) which call those servers to get that information. Firstly it was developed as US military project called Arpanet, as a private net, then started using it universities, and finally has grown until the net we know nowadays.

I don't know if this is what you need to know, anyway, you may search it in wikipedia or any other place to get a more detailed answer.

how could you base my question upon how i live my life...no hard feelings just asking a question because you have no idea wat ive been through...there were times when i didnt know where my next meal was coming from.
