Some new wives dont want anything to do with the "baggage" from the first family. If he chose her and those kids over you, fine, you don't need him. When he wan6ts to make things nice after a few years........don't be there

Hi
If i was you i would look in to family mediation - they can help settle or improve family relationships.
Its tough for you because im sure you have deep hurt feelings from when your dad married your step mom and in a way feel rejected - by you telling them to stay out of your life i think you are trying to hurt them back. Which is understandable but in the long run wont make you feel any better.
I live in england so i cant really suggest any as i think you live in USA but maybe search on the internet or speak to school or your doctor?
Good luck

I just went through a similar situation but i am 21. You will regret saying that especially if you are daddys girl. It will take time for you to adjust to this new woman even if she is doing mean things. You may not like her but you always love your day. Try going out to lunch with your dad or if yall are into sports go play sports something that he enjoys and talk to him and try to rekindle the relationship that you had. You are going to have to deal with the other woman at times. So just try to be civilized and maybe someday she will see that you arent trying to hurt her relationship with her father and yall may actually become close

Sounds like it's bothering you a lot. Sometimes we say things we don't really mean in the heat of the moment & then regret later. Take a little while to cool off then try an apology & see what happens. Good luck!

I don't live with my real dad. And I berely know him. I live with my step dad. His been the kind of father I needed while I was growing up. His been there when I been sick and has always had my back when i need him. But try to tlak to your dad and tell him how you really feel. I'm sure that he cares about you and he loves you but his just to busy with his other family but you need to tell him that you are his daughter and that you also need attention.

You're a kinda right. If they really bother yo,the best is to live your own life. But I think yo have to remember that your father is your father anyways.Even if he be so bad-tempered or have any other bad behaviours,He is your father and you better respect him.And the step mother is the one your father loves, even if she aint like yo and yo aint love her,I think you better respect her as someone your father loves, but you can put her out of your life if she really bothers ya.

SORRY TO HEAR THAT YOUR FATHER AND STEPMOTHER DO NOT HAVE ANY FAMILY VALUES. GO ON WITH YOUR LIFE AND MAKE THE BEST OF IT.

No. As you get older, you'll regret that.
