Do they happen to make a generic version of Frontline Plus?

I work in a vet clinic and there is no generic alternative to frontline plus. If you go to the store and see hartz makes a flea control for nearly half the price of frontline, dont buy it because you get what you pay for. Hartz does not work at all. Frontline is a very good flea and tick control and so is Advantix. Frontline and Advantix are about the same price. But personally I like frontline because if you have cats and the cats rubs against the dog then later licks himself he wont die, Advantix kills cats because of the type of active ingredient it has. At my vet clinic we have an on going promo if you buy 6 frontline you get one free. I hope this helps and good luck.

i would advise that you go to your local vets and ask. NEVER use cheap flea /tick treatment on any animals.. it can cause allergies and serious skin conditions . i have used frontline as recommended by my vet for the past 5 years... there is no expense when it comes to your pets... buy the best recommended by your vet.

I use a porduct called Bip-Spot and have for thelast about 10 years and I use it monthly and hve not had any flea problems since.
I put it on every month and no fleas. The ticks I find are dead. We live in an area where there are lots of ticks.

There are cheaper alternatives, but you get what you pay for. Also, the cheaper drops irratated my dog's skin. Frontline is the best, I won't buy anything else.

I've used the otc Bio Spot for over 10 years. I've used it on all my dogs (3) and on all the rescues that I have had. It works!

Yes, it's called Bio-Spot and is available OTC or on-line @ Dr's. Foster and Smith. Works just as well for me and I live in SW Florida. Bugs R Us.
