I made a hole in one on a 357 yard par four. I have the certificate from the state park system, framed and on the wall at my house. In 1985 with a persimmon wood. A real wood, and a balata golf ball i hit it over a green that said 384 yds. On tiger woods with the power boost and a big wind behind me I hit is 414. no biggie. my handicap on it is +19. I have hit sand wedge into a par five that was down wind, hard ground and a topflite golf ball. or rockflite as they used to be called. that one was like 440 or something like that. it was a pure fluke. I saw an 18 year old kid hit one 459 in a scramble i played on the fourth of July. He drove 2 short par 4's that day. So drive for show putt for doe. lol

I used an old style sky Hawk Air foil High Speed Driver and from the tee I hit a ball 285 yards on to the green that was 440 yards. The golf course was in a canyon type setting and I loved the feel of the power I could muster with that old driver.

there is a hole at my local golf club which is 406yards i hit my drive to 15 feet of the pin so in theory i hit it 400 yards but i will say the hole is down hill and the wind help the shot and the fairway was dry and the ball ran on for about 150yards but i still claim it as a 400 yard drive i play off a 14 handicap

Nearly drove the green on a 375 yard, par 4. Admittedly it was down hill quite a bit, but it was probably the best shot I've ever hit. Sadly, no one saw it. I was playing with a friend, and he was in the woods taking a leak!! No one else was around because it was a miserable day.

426 yards. The tee was elevated, the ground was hard and the wind was behind me. Hit it straight as an arrow -- I actually put the ball over the green, which was about 415 yards away.

#1 hole Rancho San Marcos, Santa Barbara, CA 405 yards downwind out onto a hard-pan fairway - Launched off the tee landed out about 270+ then rolled, hopped and skipped up onto the green! Missed the putt :-(

About 300 yards, on a par 4 hole of about 388 yards, and the same on a par 5 hole of about 475 yards. First hole played only once, 2nd hole hit about the same a couple of times for a very short period of time.
