During the day I am almost always cold but at night, when I am sleeping, I am always really really hot. Any idea as to why that might be?

During REM-sleep (dream sleep, which occurs in intervals throughout the night) the body temperature rises, which is why we sweat a lot while dreaming. Also, during REM-sleep, a man's penis becomes erect - no matter, what he is dreaming about.

Do you have flannel sheets on your bed in the summer? How old are you-could it be hot flashes-night sweats?? I leave a window cracked to get some air in because I am hot like that too. Get some really thin sheets too for the bed and no blanket. Ceiling fan-ON!
