There is no panel. There is a single consular officer who will ask you whatever he wants to, to determine your intentions to visit the US and return home. The only suggestion is, tell the absolute truth.

Whatever they ask its not the determinant of your visa application's success ....its the sincerity and the truth which the consular officer is looking for. So don't worry just go for the interview and be sincere in your responses. Good Luck!

Basically they want to know if you are a potential immigrant.
So you should show enough ties (business, job, family, property) in your country of residence that you will not pose as an immigrant risk.
Then the question of financing and purpose of trip comes.
Last, they want to make sure you are not a terrorist or associated with a similar-type of association.

From A to Z-whether you have financial support,when shall you return,record etc.They are worried about possibility of terrorists or their assistants or illegal immigrants entering their country.Answer honestly and there will be no problem.Ask someone who has recently gone to States and take his advice.

Criminal History, prior immigration history in the U.S. (legal or illegal), medical history, proof of vaccinations, means of support, what type of visa do you want, immigrant or non-immigrant, affiliation with criminal or terrorist organization and the list continues.....................
