older and when i mean older i mean older men lust after you on the streets by either starin at you in checkin you out sort of way or say somethin as you walk by.
It really annoys me especially cuz im only 16 and i dont even dress provocativly and i get older guys askin me if they can have my numba or give me a ride somewhere!!!
I know its a guy thing to do.....to look at women but if shes like old enough to be your daughter...
Why is it the older guys....?!!!

Yes, that is very annoying and bordering on predatory behavior. Our bodies often mature long before our minds and a good example is a much older man lusting after a teenager. I can't even imagine lusting after a teenage male, how in the world do old men lust after teenage girls? And how very unfair to the young woman, you are just developing and you may or may not want to "strut your stuff", or maybe you just look good in whatever you are wearing and men think it is a "come on". Either way you dress you are still going to be "punished", if you dress in a flattering way, men come on to you, if you dress totally for comfort you are seen as "not pleasing to the eye."
My dear young friend, you are experiencing the fruits of a sexist society, and unfortunately that is the way it is, for now. It may be a life long struggle, as it has been for me, to look attractive and not get inappropriate and unwanted attention. Don't get me wrong, it is flattering to be appealing and attractive but it is not at all desirable to be "hit on." I wish you luck but keep the faith and try not to become bitter about the whole matter, as I have at times. And you appear to be very wise in your young years, make the wisdom work for you. Peace.

Honey, it aint the older guys-it's just guys! You can put a physical age on them, but aint none of 'em any older mentally than around 17. I used to work at a nursing home and it does kind gross ya out when you see a 85 year old gazing at you with a hard on...
but I have come to terms with it along time ago. I work with all men and I know that they all think about having sex with me, cause their a dirty bunch. So, you might as well use it to your advantage, cut in front of the hony old buggers in the store, let 'em buy you a drink etc...
It will never change.
And your dad's friends do it oo...
as well as your dad. he probably lusts after some of your girlfriends.
remember the equalizer-they are men, it doesnt matter how old they are.

Do you look older then you are? That could be an explanation.

Old men in general seem to be incapable of telling how old younger girls are, that and the fact that they know that they'll never get a shot at you, and therefore they can flirt away, just for the fun of it, you know?

No, I hate the Cubs the most, then the Twins, then the pink Wings, then the Packers so i wager I hate 2 communities from baseball earlier I hate communities from the different sport. i'm a White Sox, Blackhawks, Bears fan btw.

I feel you girl, this guy i work with is like 30 and i'm 17. our uniforms show no shape at all and he still finds a way to make some sort of sexual comment.

They are disgusting... but really people, if you think of the big picture, these men were all young once too, and they were attracted to young women, obviously. Do you think older men are really attracted to older women, old wrinkly, used up old women? Young women are beautiful to look at, older women are not. So, I guess that makes sense right?

Yea i hate that too, but guys will be guys!!! You just have to ignore them or stand up for yourslef and tell them hey you nasty man im only 16 i can be your daughter!!!

i think sometimes guys need to flirt with younger girls to make themselves feel "younger"....maybe they are ignored at home or just dont feel "wanted" anymore. I know its annoying and you really have to be careful and the best way is just to ignore them.....................most of the time they are harmless but then theres the rest....ya know
