My mom is 50 Years old and she is getting remarried next week. I love her hubby to be and I am very happy for her. But seeing that last time she got married I was 4 I don't know what I should get them for a gift. I want it to be something that will be meaningful for the both of them. She is my best friend and he is a very dear person in my heart ( they have only been dating since March, but he has become a very important person in my life, he drove me to my wedding in May and has treated my whole family as if it was his own) I am so happy for the both of them and just want to give them the perfect gift, but am short on funds. I am thinking of spending about $60 on it. HELP!

Make them a memory book or box of special moments during their time together, leading up to the wedding. include pictures of the whole family, ticket stubs from movies they've been to tgether, recipes for their favorite meals, invitation from their wedding, if they went to a special restaraunt when he proposed maybe you can get a copy of their menu, if they drink wine, a bottle of their favorite wine.

OR

get them a picnic basket filled with a blanket, a bottle of wine, wine glasses & an opener. maybe some gourmet crackers & cheese and stuff. (should cost much less than $60)

OR

if you look around, sometimes you can find specials on couples massages. something to totally relax them either before or after the wedding.

OR

you could have a tree planted in their names to commerate their wedding

OR

at their age most people have most of what they need, maybe you could make a contribution to their favorite charity in their names.

OR

maybe you could make something special to be used at the wedding; or write a poem for them to be read at the ceremony.

I hope this helps, if I think of anything else, I'll add to my message. Good Luck!

You know what means the most to me as a mom, a personal written note of love, or a poem made up. Write to them as a couple of to each individually and tell how much they mean to you and why ( add their little quirks that you find special about them). Maybe do it on the computer, with borders and clip art and frame it as a gift. Sometimes its the simplest things in life that are the most touching. Its sounds kinda nerdy but I did that for my mom at my age then of 32 and she cried.. and kept it hanging on her wall. So its just a thought.

Get a gift card to a photography studio. That way they will have to go and have a picture done of them. That is often something we get too busy to do and the years pass us by. I just got one for my son for about $40 that will be for 4 settings and an 8x10 included each time.

It sounds like thingsremembered.com is the best place for you. There is a lot of personalized items there. Get them something personal!! You could do a pillow of the two of them, or a blanket.

How about a beautiful quilt or something for their home? If you have any siblings, you could get her a mother's ring.
