Some guy was standing behind my bmw and i backed into him pretty hard. He should pay because he was standing there. Come on you see a car and you move!

No you & your insurance will pay, you are supposed to look behind you befoer you back up! You were probably talking on your cell phone werent you?! If I was him I would sure your a*s for everything I could, maybe that will teach you a lesson, youre obviously a stuck up snob b/c the make of your car is totally irrelevant to the question & you made sure to throw it in there!

YOU! You should have control, and be in control of your vehicle at all times. A Motor vehicle in many states is considered a Deadly Weapon. Thank God it wasn't a child behind your BMW,
you could have killed him/her. I think you should take a Driving Safely course to refresh your skills and state of mind.

its called rearview mirrors..they usually work..thats like saying a person crossing a street in the crosswalk that got hit by a car is at fault..just pure insanity..next time..back up slower and dont assume no one should be there

no it is your fault because the pedestrian has the right of way no matter what. you should have been looking in the rearview of your bmw or over your shoulder to see what was behind you.

You probably. You mean to tell me you didn't see this person when you got in the car to begin with? You are supposed to check your mirrors while you are backing up. You can't expect everyone to heed to you.
