It's so sad, isn't it! He seemed like a wonderful human being, and I can hardly believe it happened.
God allows things to happen to us, ( both good and bad) and probably things such as this, are according to God's time plan. We don't know the answers to why God allows tragedies; but I'm sure there is a reason. There are so many things such as this, to wonder and question as to why it happens.
There is a book that I've heard about, titled "Why Do Bad Things Happen to Good People", by a Rabbi...and supposedly he goes into this subject.
I know one thing for sure, and that is that God did NOT punish Steve or his family, by letting him die....It isn't anything Steve did....it was just pre-destined.
I hope this helps.

Steve Irwin had to die some way. He died, apparently doing something he loved, as a result of an accident. He knew there were risks in what he did, and unfortunately for him the risk caught up with him.

I hope God lets me die doing the thing I love best.

First off, despite his young age, Steve went the way he wanted to go... amongst the animals he loved, doing the job he did. There are very few opportunities to die the way you want to die... and few are the gifts such as those. Most will die in a retirement home from old age, or from disease, or from their own stupidity (drugs, cigarettes, reaching in a tub of water to retrieve their old-fashioned hair dryer, etc), or from an accident merely driving to work. People like Steve Irwin, Dale Earnhart, and Martin Burnham... they were blessed by having died by doing what they loved. I, personally, would rather die by a heart-attack from overdosing on caffiene while pwning a top-ranked gamer in an MMORPG or some other online game, or perhaps dying from ceasing to breath from my sleep apnia in the middle of the night, and not from cancer, a traffic accident, crime, or clumsiness.

Second, even Jesus taught that, "Sometimes, crap happens". Death, because of sin, has become part of life. Steve was no better a saint, nor any worse a sinner, than anyone else who has ever died. Yet, if he trusted in Jesus Christ, then rest happily, knowing that his death is little more that an extended nap, and that one day soon, he will be resurrected back to life, just as God intended for him to live. However, mourn for him, if he did not... for then, he truly has experienced natural death, as well as spiritual death (that is, Hell). But, that choice was not up to God, nor was it up to his fans... that was a choice only he alone could make.

...and know that if you do not repent of your sins, you will wind up just as he did... one day you too shall be buried in the ground. Death itself is bad enough... do not add for yourself a second death, one far greater that physical death.

With all do repsect GOD didn't make the choice for him he made it of his own accord. Remember this was his life and he was very passionate when it came to the animals. GOD is not to blame nor is Steve Irwin (may he rest in peace). Everything happens for a reason.I'm going to miss Steve Irwin, Crikey! Peace. Damian your answer is just what the doctort ordered. I couldn't have said it better myself!

Steve Irwin died, because he was playing with deadly animals. God has nothing to do with Steve's choices.

None of us know when we will draw our last breath. God has a plan for each of us and we should be ready to go at any moment. I could get in my car and be killed on my way to the bank. A plane could crash right into my house while I sleep. I could live to be 102 years old. We just don't know.

nicely, he changed into doing this contained in the technique of making a chain said as Ocean's Deadliest Predators - truthfully confirmed that they are. perchance they ought to televise what they have of the sequence as planned - reality television at it suitable - contained in the right spirit of route, and as a credit to Steve and all he did. do not understand to what volume this would nicely be real, yet i'm imagining some type of assembly at the same time as they were making plans this the position Crocodile Donedied says something of the variety "Yeah, Stingrays will be risky, in spite of the indisputable fact that the superb time one actually killed someone changed into about 60 years in the past..." i do not understand and that i'm only being humorous about the call - possibly he would even delight in the humor. human beings awlays say how a lot of a tragedy it truly is and gasp or fake to at the same time as they see the images, yet clone of the Kennedy hit - alot of sickos will be "digging" it and playing it time & time again ;) 2 issues I continually favor to assert: no man or woman is guaranteed tomorrow. anybody needs to win the Powerball drawing, yet no man or woman needs _____________. contained in the gap, position the tragedy of your selection it somewhat is practically as not likely. yet no - I somewhat doubt faith has something to do with it.

God allows bad things to happen, but he is never the cause. Steve took risks that endangered his life. The Bible tells us time and unforeseen circumstances happen to all of us; Eccl 9:11:--"I returned and saw under the sun that— The race is not to the swift, Nor the battle to the strong, Nor bread to the wise, Nor riches to men of understanding, Nor favor to men of skill; But time and chance happen to them all."
Satan the Devil is the one to blame for all mankind's problems, including sickness and death.
Steve did die, but his death is only a temporary condition. God will soon give his Son the authority to resurrect those who are sleeping in death and they will be brought back to life here on earth. Steve will have the opportunity to not only live again, but to live forever.
Psalms 37:9-11 promises: " For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth. For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace."
John 5:25-29 says this regarding the resurrection: "Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live. For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself, and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man. Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation." (Even those who did bad things will be brought back to life and given a second chance to prove their loyalty to their Creator.)
What a loving Creator we have.

better than getting eaten by an alligator, and suffered for a long time. Or being bitten by a rattler. They say he died in just a couple of minutes. A better question would be Is his family saved, and was Steve saved?
