Green tea is very healthy for you:

Green tea shouldn't be consumed if you are planning on becoming pregnant:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Green_tea#When_a_doctor_should_be_contacted_prior_to_consuming
And of course, it helps elevate the metabolism, it's better to not drink it on an empty stomach, as it messes up the stomach acids, and you might feel nauseated.
:)
Other than that, drink away!
It's full of antioxidants and helps eliminate a range of health problems ^_^

I drink alot of green tea, and Ive found it very beneficial. Since Ive starting drinking it Ive lost a ton of weight, because it speeds up the metabolism. Its full of antioxidants too, which help prevent cancer and keep us looking younger. White tea is even better because it has over 6 times the most of antioxidant that green tea has, you can get it in any health food store.

I've never heard of Mate tea, but green tea, or gunpowder, as I know it, is supposed to be very good for you as it's rich in antioxidants and contains no caffeine. Research suggests that it can prevent heart attacks and possibly cancer. I don't see how drinking ti every day could possibly be bad for the health.

Proper green tea? It's very good for you and has less caffeine that normal tea or coffee. Full of antioxidants which help regenerate the skin and increase antibodies.

Green tea is supposedly good for you. The Chinese believe is helps slow down the ageing process. I drink only green tea if I can help it.

If you're not sure just don't drink too much! By the way too much tea makes your teeth yellow!

I haven't heard that one. In fact, I've heard the opposite. You can go to various websites like WebMD or others and ask them.
