MY SON IS 36 YRS. OLD AND GAY, He has the same problem too. Just accept it. Some people are attracted to opposite sex and some aren't. There are more gays out there than you think. Go to more meeting places where other gays are. There is nothing to be ashamed about. You WERE born that way regardless what ignorant people think. Ignorant people think its a choice and I've talked to many of my sons friends and its is not a choice. Having a sexusl attraction to the same sex has nothing to do with you being a person.

The reason you feel ashamed is because you are choosing a lifestyle that is wicked. You know it and that's why that feeling wont go away.If you will repent and do whats right you wont have a reason to feel that way.I an sorry that you have being doing that.I really hope that you will realize that everything that you do in life is a choice not something that you have to do.At least you can admit shame.Anybody that tells you anything different that what i just told you is a lair and is trying to keep you in that path straight to hell.

It is people like your first answer that make you feel that way. Our society does not except Gay's, Therefore It is hard for you to feel proud of being gay. What I feel you need to work on is not caring what other people think of you! Are you happy ? Do you have someone you love? Does he make you happy? Those are the things you should concentrate on. Who cares if anyone else likes it or not. Do you really care if I like both men and women? No so ignore all those ignorant people who don't even know you but judge you. Good luck I hope you allow yourself love and happiness.

there's nothing to be ashamed of, what is needed is for everyone sitting in the closet to come out so that everyone else can see its not some secret society or just a bunch of fairy bois running around but that it is normal people they meet everyday and most likely already know. That is when the stigma will be erased and more people will be comfortable being open - kind of like compounded interest - as more come out and it gains acceptance then even more will come out. But to answer you're question - just be you! You are who you are and there isn't any reason to change it for what some one else thinks or believes.

Do you feel ashamed or do others make you feel ashamed? If you feel ashamed then I would suggest therapy and trying to work out what is really going on in your head. If it is others then you need to learn that you can't change people or their views and you shouldn't try to. Just be happy with who you are, surround yourself with people you love and that love you and screw what everyone else thinks.

what is there to be ashamed about? its just a sexual preference nothing more nothing less. People who make you feel bad should be the ones ashamed. Cheer up and think of Socrates, he was probably the greatest gay of all, any no one can make you drink hemlock.

find a support group. Although I am not gay, I am not homophobic either. There are support groups either in your area or online that try to help people come to terms with their sexual identity. Remember, you did not ask to be gay, it is just the way you are. Also, talk to your parents about it. They may be disappointed at first, but if they are loving and understanding, they will come to terms with it. If not, I am sorry.
