The original commands to not eat pork, or raise pigs, or have them anywhere near people's dwellings was to protect water and food supplies, especially in oases. Pigs love mud and at the time of the commands, would take over artesian wells in the desert, just ruining the oases, and plants, animals, and people would die for lack of good water. Pigs and people swap diseases readily, also, like influenza, colds and parasites.
The commands to not eat shellfish for Jews was a similar protective command. Sewage was left to runoff into the bays and shrimp, oysters, and lobsters would pickup all kinds of diseases, cholera, hepatitis, etc.
Both commands are irrelevant in the face of clean agricultural practices, but the recent E-Coli outbreak in the California spinach farms should help you to understand the absolute needs for protective food procedures.
Your idea of forcing Muslims to do anything is kind of humorous. You do realize there about 1.8 billion Muslims, right? Best get along with them, see the beauty they created in their golden period - their architecture, mathematics & higher logic, and understand that the Koran was but another means of the Lord God Almighty providing a memory support for himself and a means of attunement to him and his will for the people he created.

The Torah, The Bible and The Quran forbid such thing, why don't you eat it and leave other people alone. Sometimes people like you know the answers to their own question but they try to be silly. No believing person should be forced to eat such a dirty animal.

Should the believers and followers of ANY religion be forced to perform an act that violates their ethics? Especially for your amusement?

that may no longer a Muslim situation answer, yet undemanding experience related to healthful ingesting practices, that has no longer something to do with faith. beef is unclean, human beings do no longer devour rubbish.... cows milk is for toddler cows no longer for human beings... forcing somebody to devour such rubbish might set off violent throwing up, diarrhea, dehydration and effective loss of life... the physique isn't able to digest those products and can reject ASAP... might YOU devour a bat, a vulture, cat, canines, IF we forced you too with the intention to proceed to exist?? unclean is unclean... My husband and that i the two grew up on farms; we are able to no longer and could no longer devour beef or dairy products...
