The Shortest Distance between a Problem and it's Solution is the Distance between your Knees and the Floor. The one who Kneels to Allah (Ta'ala) can Stand Up to Anything.

Verily, Allah does not look towards your bodies nor towards your appearances.
But, he looks towards your hearts. (Muslim)

Allahs blessings are sweeter than springtime,

Allahs blessings are a treasure so true that thier value cannot be measured and one of Allahs blessings is you!

Watch your Thoughts, they become Words! Watch your Words, they become Actions! Watch your Actions, they become Habits! Watch your Habits, they become Character! Watch your CHARACTER! ..It becomes your DESTINY!!!

Those who do not feel comfortable with "Allah" can substitute it with God(Allah is the Arabic name for God).......Islam as a religion is based on monotheism(Oness of God Almighty)

I don't see anything here beneficial for me, But I do notice that you must be Muslim, & something you said is true, Watch your thoughts, they become words, Watch your words, They beome your actions, Watch your actions, They become your habits, Watch your habits, they become Character, watch your Character, it becomes your destiny. How true those words are. First you think, then you go into action, then your actions becomes your everyday habits, & then your habits becomes your Charactert & then your CHARACTER, which is your inner being, Becomes your destiny, Which is a Bomb tied to your body & BOOM. You couldn't have explain it any better

As a spiritualist I believe in God. I worship and praise God. I talk to God. I ask questions of God. However, I do not have any religious book to guide my my social, working or leisure life. However, I am free to look at any belief system and follow whatever I feel to be right. Having had a Christian up-bringing, I know more about Jesus the Christ than I do about any other religious figure. Therefore I try to follow the teachings of Jesus the Christ. I have been known to quote the bible. Some of my favourites are: Judge ye not others lest ye yourself be judged; do onto others as you would have done onto yourself and turn the other cheek. In conclusion, I also believe that thoughts are living things. Therefore, thoughts of violence do not form part of my world if I can help it.

I like the answer Glo gave, but I need to add this; I don't believe God, (or Allah) meant for me to spend my life on my knees. I believe there is more purpose in life than that. I also believe the Bible when it says, "By grace are we saved, through faith, and not of works, lest any man should boast." Spend all the time u want on your knees, but I have better things to do. I also believe that God gave me a brain so that I could figure out the answers to my own problems, and not bug Him, when He has so many other things to do. (Like listening to all the Muslims on their knees.)

Exodus 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Exodus 23:13 And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.

Judges 10:13 Yet ye have forsaken me, and served other gods: wherefore I will deliver you no more.

You say "Allah" I say "God" I agree strongly with the concept. Thank you for your insight. Personally, I feel there is only one God, we choose to call him by different names, choose to worship him in different ways. And that is OK!

Just reading these words gives me the chills. Praise Allah as you blow up a car that kills a family, or while you fly a plane into a building? No thanks.

some very good thoughts here. however because of my right to free will I am going to take these good points and change them just a little bit to fit in with my personal belief system. for I believe in taking the good from any differing belief system and incorporating them into my own. thank you very much for helping me grow in wisdom and knowledge.
