I am fairly new to the Internet and I have made a good friend in the other side of the world. She has become very important to me so it saddens me that she thinks I may be a fake. I have sent pics of me ( she says I am ugly ) and pics of me with attractive exes. I have given my address and telephone number, thanking her for gifts I received to my home address and I even even messaged her the words of a card sent to me by my mum. I also work with children and vulnerable adults so I have had all the required police checks and I have Enhanced Disclosure forms and references from helping organisations. I have not asked her for her address, etc although I do wish I could return her kind gesture of gifts. I don't want her to let her guard down as there are some evil people in the world but how do I prove to her I am a genuine nice guy. I don't think either of us is ready to meet each other. There must be some way, or maybe not? I mean you can actually live

The last thing you want to do is to Overdo things, because she may feel even more suspicious.

You sound like you really like her a lot. But are you sure even if she is convinced that you are a good guy, things will work out for the two of you? Being a good guy is not enough for a girl to fall in love with you.

Plus the distance. Other side of the world. Sounds too far and difficult to maintain the relationship if it does work out. I have tried and failed in a long-distance relationship, even though we only live but 7 hours apart by car. We broke up in three months, after knowing each other for three months online. Looking back, I think it's just because the online persona is very different from real-life. I was also too much of a romantic and refused to see other warning signs and other difficulties placed in our paths.

It takes a lot of trust, commitment and love to maintain a long-distance r/s. At this moment, it sounds like you two are not ready. She doesn't trust you and you don't trust her (judgement).

As such, please just take your time developing your friendship and for her to trust you slowly. The more you try to speed things up, the more you will bungle. So please! Relax! And meanwhile, look around you and give yourself more options.

Good luck!

long distance relationship especially anonymous 1 is best kept at bay.

i had a bad experience before same like yours.

unless you are financially stable and ready to settle down, do not go into such relationship.

it will hurt very badly unless heaven is really kind to you through your merits in your past lives and karma.

You sound really nice she said that you are ugly ?
That was nice..... not !
Is she worth all the trouble if so go and get a copy of you police checks and get a JP to sign them and sign a copy of your licence with photo id and scan it into your computer and let her know that this is really you,

Hope it works out

You talk the talk, Cowboy..... now let's see if you can walk the walk..........

(I've been there; done that).... Already "met" Mr. Right over the internet, and (all of the above)... (yada, yada, yada).....

Wasn't QUITE what I expected when I got there, if you follow me...

Soooo.... (*big grin on my face).........
I'll be Her PI.... I'll check you out.... and trust me, if you even stick out your tongue at me; I'm gonna see it as a RED FLAG...

.... then... (if all checks out)... and only then... will I even BELIEVE you...........and IF I DO.... then... I can tell HER to BELIEVE YOU.
