Almost all people on Earth acknowledge Catholics as Christians including Catholics, Eastern Orthodox, Anglicans, Episcopalians, Lutherans, Methodists, and many others.
Even non-Christian Churches acknowledge Catholics as Christians.
A few groups of Fundamentalist and Evangelical Christians do not.
With love in Christ.

If Catholics are not Christians then there are no Christians, for all others who call themselves Christians are simply offshoots of Catholicism. Can something true be an offshoot of something untrue? The truth is, Catholics were the only Christians on earth for most of the history of Christianity. The Catholic Church is the only Church that can trace its history directly back to the Apostles, and therefore to Jesus Christ Himself. Jesus founded ONE Church for all mankind, and plainly stated that His Church was to remain ONE. It has done so, teaching and worshipping in UNITY for 2,000 years, while manmade offshoots from His Church have fragmented into thousands of conflicting denominations. Jesus said the TRUTH would set us free. Conflicting beliefs cannot be true. The Bible says the Church He founded is the pillar and foundation of truth. Without the pillars and foundation, a structure will warp and degenerate, and eventually collapse. Instead of repeating silly myths generated by anti-Catholic bigots, take an honest look at what the Holy Catholic Church teaches. You may be surprised by truth.

Yes, the Catholic Church is a Christian Church since one of the principle beliefs of the Catholic Church is that Jesus Christ is God Incarnate and that His death and resurrection has freed us from the consequences of sin and has made eternal life possible.
Many people will say that teh Catholic Church is not biblical. This is particularly amusing when you realize that it was the catholic Church that put together the Bible and the books in the Christian Bible were the same for over 1000 years, until Martin Luther decided to abandon the Christian canon of Scripture and adopt the jewish cannon of Scripture.
Not all of the beliefs and practices of the Catholic Church are found in the Bible. At the same time, the Bible itself never says that the Bible alone is the sole source of truth and faith. The practices and beliefs of the catholic Church that are not in the Bible are not in conflict with what is in the Bible.

NO they are not. They do not teach acceptance of Jesus as your savior and repenting of your sins to Him. They worhip statues, and confess sins to a mortal man. They do not teach the word of God but their own doctrine. They are not Chrsitians. I am a former catholic, I am now a born again Christian. Praise the Lord.

They claim to be but they put traditions above the word of God the Bible and they blaspheme as they claim to have power on earth to forgive sins and to establish saints and to deify Mary which is not Biblical. They are the antichrist orgranization and those in it should flee Babylon before it is too late.
