"A Christian's Pocket Guide to Islam"? Sounds like a very objective book :P

Yeah I think some of them are, even amongst Muslims they can be quite judgemental b/c some feel they are more religious than others, therefore they know better & in a 'higher' position. There are some Arab Muslims who think they are more superior than Muslims of other races. Now that is narrow-mindedness. You won't get a more honest answer than this lol.

But if you meet a Muslim like me, nahh.. I'm cool :) And so are most of the Muslims out there... Most of us do like to listen to other perspectives as there is a 'world' outside of ours & we know that. You can expect us to listen to your ideas but you can't expect us to leave our religion just b/c you don't think our faith is right.

Oh and that bit about Muslims being aggressive, I believe it's more of a cultural thing. From my experience, some Arabs & Afghans are rough, while Asian Muslims are relatively gentle (esp. Malays, Thais b/c that's our culture). So becareful when you say Muslims are aggressive, Muslims or a specific race? Try not to generalize.

particular, I unquestionably have 2 non practising Muslim acquaintances. The do follow the Islamic rules of no longer ingesting beef and non alcohol etc. yet they do no longer pray 5 situations an afternoon as commanded. yet have come for the time of many non practising Muslims in my life and that they often become mature and take Islam heavily as they improve older. EDIT: To: nameless with the certainty: You telling any Muslim that they do no longer look to be a Muslim with the aid of fact they're a non practising Muslim is a judgment upon them. you're notably lots judging they telling them that they do no longer look to be a real Muslim. you're actually not every person to choose.

Islam has a very highly developed code of religious observance, usually referred to as arkan-ud-din [pillars of religion]. These five pillars are:
Confessing the faith
Prayer
Fasting
Giving of alms
Pilgrimage to Mecca
Some Muslims add jihad as a sixth pillar.
All these are obligatory duties based on explicit injunctions in either the Quran or the hadith. There is no evading them.

Hi!

I don't think they are narrow minded...I just think in every debate of religion, Satan wants to retain his own and so does God...

Just to add this, it is amazing that the REAL Satanists are NOT threatened by the Islamic religion but by born again "Christians"...Christians don't even carry guns and kill people!

You get Satanic websites that speak against "Jesus the Christ","the cross", the Blood of Jesus and the bible than against "the qoran, Mahummed etc...

I think to Satan, Islam is not really a threat to him...What's amazing is that both Islam and Christianity believe in the existance of Satan...YET SATAN HIMSELF IS NOT THREATENED BY ISLAM...There must be something good about Jesus Christ that Satan hates. You don't get the "Satanic Qorun" but you get the "Satanic bible"...a direct opposite of what God's idea!

Hug!

SO MUCH NARROW MINDED
Just ask me
I have 3 muslims and 2 christians working as assitants to me.
Christians understand directly, while the others need hours to understan
Also if they weren't narrow minded, they would have left their religion from a long time ago

Extremist Muslims are just as narrow minded as extremist christians, be they born again, catholics or whatever, you know the kind i'm talking about? People who will not accept and respect the fact that others have different opinions, judge, condemn them simply because they do not belong to their creed/sect and what not.

This interesting quality seems to permeate Christians and Jews, too.

Something about all three thinking they're always right and everyone else is so wrong that they all have histories of killing anyone who disagrees with them.

Stay away from fundame talists; they're harmful to your health.

Yes, of course.

But they are open-minded for those who really want to discuss about religion of Islam or other religions without insulting.

For half-brain person, surely they are narrow-minded.
