How can I prevent stitch, before I run.

That stitch is when your diaphragm is being pushed beyond it's normal limit. I don't think you can solve it BEFORE you run, but when you are running and you get the stitch, exhale more than you inhale. So as the stitch comes on, breathe out so far that there's nothing left in your lungs....after a while the stitch goes away.

I get a stitch if I drink too much before I do exercise so I try to drink allot of water a few hours before, then dont drink much an hour before and during exercise except a few sips... I'm not sure if this is healthy or not but it stops me from getting a stitch.

The "side stitch" can not only be caused by too much food or eating before running, it is caused by and irritation of the lining of the abdominal cavity- from too much food in your stomach (as was previously mentioned in the earlier answer), but also by dehydration or gas. You can prevent side stitches by avoiding large meals before your workout, staying well hydrated and avoiding high-sugar foods and drinks before running. Staying well hydrated was what triggered my problems with it...

it is usually called a cramp.

most not all cramps are brought on
by an imbalance of salt in your system.
