I need to move out, but I have two tickets to pay off, my job doesnt pay well ($8.50 an hour). I havent even saved up because I have to pay for my car payment, my cellphone bill, my vonage bill, my two tickets havent even been paid yet. I still owe my mom for her paying my insurance. What should i do, As soon as i pay everything off, everything will be so much better. Any Suggestions?

"First of all after you pay everything off where do you plan on living? Do you have a full time job with benefits? Will you live in an apartment alone or roommates?" I plan on living in West Covina area, Yes i have a full time job with benefits. I'll more than likely get an apartment with roomates.

To reply to sglmom:
I cant sell the car, its for my transportation to work, also i financed it.
Cellphone i can cancel.
Internet my mom pays for, its her house, she chose to purchase it, she uses it as well.
As far as you going off talking about me being a Brat, you dont know me therefore you cant speak, my mom WANTS me to live at home. I dont eat food at home, i eat out, thats another one of my problems, I'm not coming here to complain, im coming here for advice. I do respect my mother, she offers to pay for these items, but i tell her i need to. Thats what amother is for, she's just helping me so i can be a grown up. She doesnt want to see me in debt like she was when she was younger. As far as college, thats another reason why I want all these debts behind me, so i can go to school. I'd like to be a Computer Tech, or go into Criminal Justice. I'm also trying to open my computer business, but so many things are stopping me from doing so.

You need to sit down, write out a budget and stick to it. Ask yourself if you really truly need the cellphone and or the internet. Are they necessities right now? If not, then you can dump them, get your debts in order and when you're back on your feet add them into your life. It's really about saving. Even change adds up. Good luck!

First of all after you pay everything off where do you plan on living? Do you have a full time job with benefits? Will you live in an apartment alone or roommates? If so you will either have to pay part of rent and utilities or all of it. If you're going to live alone you will need 1st month, last month, and security rent, so that's 3 month's rent up front. How long will it take you to save that? You have to think things through before you jump the gun. Get a notebook and write down the bills you have to pay now like your car

Unless you are in an abusive or dangerous situation, don't move out until you have paid off your debts and saved some money...and...get a better paying job. Living on your own is much more expensive than you can imagine. Running a car can be outrageously expensive as well. I have a fabulous car but just had to spend $1,500.00 on routine work. Once you have paid your debts try this experiment. Calculate what it would cost you to pay rent, buy groceries etc., gas, car insurance et al. Try saving that money and see how good you do. If you can't come close then you will not make it on your own for long.

Start by SELLING the CAR,
stop driving for a while UNTIL YOU can pay your OWN Car Insurance
Go back to school and GET further education (this includes even Tech training such as Industrial or skilled work besides the College that most people think of)
STOP using the Cell Phone,
Pay off your Tickets,
RESPECT the rules of your MOTHER in HER HOME!
and CUT out the Internet right now --
BECAUSE ... YOU need to start taking on your adult responsibilities for messing around with finances and NOT thinking that
YOUR mother is DONE raising you, and STILL ... YOU are living in her home, under HER roof, EATING Her Hard-Earned Groceries, Using the UTILITIES your Mother is paying for, and being COMFORTABLE there!
Seems to me to be a Bit on the UNGRATEFUL BRAT side, like you are after this posting.

Find a roommate or roommates, or find place that is renting out a room in a house with a private entrance. See if you can save money by being thrifty. How about a cheaper cellphone service, etc.
I agree with Jackie. You may need to take on a second job to pay off your bills to get a fresh start. Don't ruin your credit rating.
Why not join the military? Or go back to school? If you are on your own, you can usually get assistance to pay for your tuition and living expenses. The experience (military) or the education (school) will prepare you to be independent.
PS: Frankly, I don't think name calling accomplishes anything here. This appears to be a young person who has made a few mistakes (who hasn't) and who wants to be independent. I applaud her for taking the effort to reach out for help. Life is tough.
Suggestion: Write your goals down and do what it takes to reach them. Don't give up on your dreams.

There must be some after hours money you could earn by baby sitting or something else part time. Ditch the Vonage and pay for the tickets. As long as you have your cell phone you will be connected. If you don't pay the tickets I'm sure they will be happy to give you a place to stay with food and all and some nice orange clothes.

Life is sucking for a lot of us lately... but you have to decide what is most important. If you do not pay the tickets soon, you will have your license suspended. If you talk seriously to your mom, I am sure she will understand, and cut out one of the phones.
Perhaps you need to find a temporary second job to get everything paid off quicker. Good luck!

You need to think about the fact that you are broke right now & even if you do pay off your bills, the money that will be going to rent & utilities will probably be more than what you are paying now. So it seems you cannot afford to move out & if I were you I wouldnt stretch it & do it anyways, you will regret it & possibly mess up what credit you do have.

Only suggestion: worry about paying your bills off and not anything else yet. And, try and grow up a little before going out on your own... Getting tickets is not adult-like.

Get a second job.
Lose the cell phone.
Lose the vonage.
Decide what your priority is and make that your goal.
Live sparingly - don't get caught up in what everyone else is doing. Find cheap and free ways to be entertained. Find cheap furniture, cheap clothes, etc.
The freedom you seek comes with a price and that price is luxury, albeit very little luxury that you have to give up.
