Although being poor is probably a rough life --- there is something to be said for living a "simple" lifestyle. Less possessions and responsibilities to worry about.

I wouldn't say rich have more stress than poor. Mayhap more responsibility to get and maintain their money, but I would put money on the fact that the poor have more heart attacks than the wealthy, due to lack of insurance and proper heart care. And the stress of the economy today. Might not have been 'rich' men answering the question either. Stress is a common answer, but heart diseases are more than that, heredity and bad body care are other factors.

This might have less to do with money than it does with lifestyle. I think the opposite may be true. I've actually heard statistics that the poor are much more prone to heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, etc. because of lifestyle. Less healthy diets, more smoking, less exercise than rich people.

It could be because their thoughts, time, and effort center around making money, and not enough about enjoying simple things, like the company of a friend (unless he or she is preccupied with the same things) or time with your wife and kids. Also, eveyone needs a certain amount of time alone. Poor health, as I'm sure you know, can be caused by poor diet, lack of exercise, etc.

Because they think about the taxes they have to pay - 40 cents on the dollar which goes to pay for all those illegals we keep hearing about instead of programs for citizens.

Because most rich people dont worry about money, so they just go out and spend, spend, spend and before they know it, they are in debt just like the rest of us and they have to worry about how to get out of it.

Why would you think this should be taken as factual? I am amazed at a classification based on income. I would think heredity and played a bigger part in a persons health.

That's all bull. They just can't cope with stress as well as people who do real work.
