I heard that if you get a really sharp pencil, dip it in nicotine, then stab yourself in the arm with it, you will die instantly. Is that true?

A drop of pure nicotine on the skin will kill you. Why bother putting it on a pencil and jabbing it into your arm?

Ugh. Don't know about the pencil, but nicotine in an injectable for would be HIGHLY dangerous. It is all dosage dependent. It would depend on how many cc's of nicotine went into the blood stream, the persons weight, age, overall health, and if they were addicted to nicotine (which mean they would have tolerance to the drug and could handle more of it).

I don't know, but lets take a look at the 3 components
nicotine, raise blood pressure and heart rate while constricting blood vessels
Pencil lead,, which are graphite now, probably no effect
Wood,, no effects
Probably not
