1/There is a popular misconception that immigrants are happy doing the jobs that British people don't want. immigrants may be content to live in poor quality homes in poor areas in the short term but will have higher aspirations, the numbers staying in poorly paid jobs will be small. Especially when they become entitled to benefits.
2/ The 'skills shortage' we hear about is a myth. We have a workforce and skills but the government give no incentive to those people on bnefits to go back to work. Why work in a Supermarket when you get by far more comftably on benefit (housing allownace, council tax allowance, job seekers allowance). I believe that people should 'earn' their benefits.
3/ The working class do not have a voice in British politics anymore because of the centralisation of Labour and the Politically correct culture that prevents the average working man from speaking without fear of racist labelling.
4/ The government has lost touch with the average Briton, instead all they see are figures and targets. Gordon Brown may think a strong economy is good for the UK, but not if it means 50% of our population are suffering as a result of it. The British government is supposed to represent the British people NOT TO provide an economic playground for the world that only benefits the well off.

Like it or not there is a problem in the UK.
I am involved with one company ( one of many) which is involved in the care of the elderly industry there are currently 1200 on the books and we will increase to around 5000 in the next 3 years.
We simply cant get enough local people to do these types of jobs. Those that want to work will take up about 80% of our requirement the last 20 % is a proble some 1000 jobs.
As the population gets older and lives longer with birthrates falling the gap between needs and supply widen.
yes there are infrastructure problems but these are largel;y caused by an ageing population that are using the resources but no longer contributing. ( the long term unemplyed are their through choice as theree are plenty of jobs around albeit not glamorous high paid ones but they are there)
peopel in the UK will not move to another area if there is no work locally ( some will for high paid jobs but we are talikng low paid jobs) The immegrant work force will travel at a drop of a hat.
What I have said may not seem palatable but it is accurate.

I find it very worrying that there are so many stupid people in the UK. There are so many people who read the daily fascist and seem to think it talks the truth. What government on the planet would allow people into this country if it did not benefit the country? Immigration is nothing but a good thing. I will not bother explaining why because its obvious those that disagree lack the intelligence to understand the other side of an argument.... Actually perhaps we should send back all immigrants. Then in a few years the same people moaning about immigration will be moaning why taxes are at 40%, inflation is running at 30%, and that there is no health care for pensioners because we do not have a work force to support them..... If you are stupid just chill out and let the government make the tough decisions, you shouldn't worry yourself about it, just concentrate on buying scratch cards, doing your shopping in The Pound Shop, watching Challenge TV or whatever else it is you do in your simplistic black or white world.

All you guys - Just stop it...........
Immig. is good for the country. You are burying your head in the sand and you are not able to see beyond the length of your hand.
It has been proven time and time again: Immigration improves our country's economy. I am not going to into major shpeil......... you ought to start reading more or get out more often.
Don't be short sighted. It is dangerous for yourself and for our country. We should encourage immigration but bring only the ones that can contribute. (the government is doing that selection process anyway). We have not paid to educate them, nor paid them to bring them up to a productive status (at least age 25) and we are getting all the benefits. So, why not bring them here and make them work?
Open your eyes, will you?
I only have problem with illegals. They jump the queue and they are not always quality people.

We also have a shortage of labour.
The baby boomers of the sixties are preparing for retirement, who will look after the economy then?
We will be left with a majority of the population at retirement age
If in any doubt, just type "demographics" into google.

The powerful politicians are not concerned. In their fairy tale THEY will always have these things.
But, if they appease the illegals and the idiots in the border states who have been elected and are giving our country away, maybe they might get elected to another office.
It's about a few hungry for power.
Power corrupts
Absolute power absolutely corrupts
The politicians who are turning against America better read their history. Many a nation has deposed their wicked leaders and put them in the hangmans noose.

Are they though? It seems to me that it depends on where these people come from and their mode of transport to get here.
Boats dont seem to be received very well, not in Australia anyway.
In fact once my very clever kids pointed out that our national anthem is a lie, because one of the lines says,"For those who've
come across the sea, we've heaps of land to share"

As to water? Water, water everywhere and not a drop to drink. We only have ourselves to blame.

I stay contained in the Seattle WA area. Ammo continues to be scarce yet sounds like per chance (merely per chance) its placing out to get better effective. Cabelas sometimes has ammo accessible on-line - even .22LR often times, even though it sells out very rapidly and also you both ought to %. it up in save or pay a large shipping value. some weeks in the past i changed into at a farm & feed save and talked about 5 cans of Federal .22LR 325 packs on the shelf. I grabbed 3 cans (the save reduce) and a couple of minutes later there changed into someone who had grabbed the different 2 and it changed into gone a useless ringer for that. there's a community gun save that has their inventory on-line. I verify daily and performance picked up some packing bins of .22LR, one field of 9mm and a pair packing bins of .40S&W that way. frequently the classic ammo sells out very rapidly inspite of their reduce of one million in line with loved ones in line with day. They did get a huge shipment of aluminum case .40 high quality that took about per week to promote thoroughly. the finished suggestion i visit provide is to with courtesy ask a number of shops even as & how they receive their inventory. for instance the interior of sight vast 5 wearing products save receives shipments each and every Thursday evening and has it on the shelf Friday morning even as the doors open.
