No since he wasn't born on December 25th. No one knows for sure when he was born although if you study the Bible you will find that he was born at Harvest time, probobly in mid to late September or early October. But what does it matter when he was born as long as yopu believe he is the SON of GOD and died on the cross and rose from the dead three days later. Dec. 25th was an old Pegan Holiday to celebrate the return of their Sun God and was put into being by the Catholic Church .

The Lord was not born that day,was not born in winter. Was born, about April, this came out after deep study of the Bible in the different Churches, this day we have because of the old Romans. They have had it all ready for their own partys for the idols.Later as they were Christians did not want to leave those partys, so the apostles, fathers of the community that time, made the Christmas day with this date.

The 25th was designated by the Romans as the feast of Sol Invictus as a way to reconcile Christianity with their own beliefs, which stated that Mithras (a much older god said to have walked on water, been born of a virgin, and fed masses with a few loaves and fish) was born on 25th December. Sol Invictus ("the invincible sun") was formed entirely so believers of all religions could celebrate on the same day.

don't kid yourself. most evidence points that JESUS was NOT born on Christmas Day. this was the date of a pagan holiday and the early Christians took over the holiday in order to make converting the pagans into Christians easier.

It's no coincidence the powers that be with the church chose the time the Pagans celebrated the rebirth of the sun and the solstice as one of their holy days to assimilate the Pagan beliefs in to theirs.

It was the old Catholic religious way to incorporate pagan celebrations with Christian beliefs, because even if the new christians were claiming christianity they were still trying to celebrate in their own "old" beliefs. Thus taking and celebrating the birth of Christ at the time of the winter solstice taking it from the festival of the sun to the Festival of the Son

There is no historical data to support a Dec. 25th birthday.
In fact, if you look to history for the clues you will find guesstamates from April 15, to August 29.
The real curiosity, is why Dec. 25th?

Jesus wasn't necessarily born on Christmas day.
No one knows for sure the day He was born on, so that is the best mutually agreed upon best guess.
