That will be different for everyone. Old enough that you have had some bill paying and outside communication skills as well as domestic skills. Old enough that the persons involved are educated, skilled, and experienced enough to hold down a job if the other gets ill or injured and cannot provide. Also old enough to be mature both physically as well as mentally to deal with the challenges and adjustments of a co-operative lifestyle. And yes, old enough to know the difference in being infatuated and being in love. Those things apply to both parties. Both have to have reached those levels to succeed today. They have to understand the lifetime committment they are making, to be capable of keeping it, and so forth. It is not enough anymore for just one party to be able to do that. It also would not be fair, that is why it is a marriage, two people are supposed to complement each other. There also need to be common goals and common upbringings so that they can understand eachother and come to agreement on the many tasks their marriage involves and they need to have good communication skills before they get married. Alot of people today do not follow those simple rules and then they wonder why the divorce rate is so high and why they are numbered in it. For those reasons there have sprung up pre marriage counselors, people who tell you how to prepare and even give prospective partners tests to see if they are compatible. If they are, then those counselors are able to tell them what they should work on if anything, before they make that committment. That can be very helpful but there is no guarantee to success except for acquiring the things I told you about beforehand and strengthening them with love, devotion, and alot of patience and hard work.

Old enough to know to the consequences of marriage if you make a mistake. Odl enough to know that all realtionships have their ups and down and to be willing to work it out no matter how difficult it is. Old enough to know that people do change in time, and who they are when you first meet them may not be the same person besdies you in bed when you are 60. Old enough to know a good man or a good woman when you see one for who they are on the inside and not what they look like on the outside. Because time changes everyone. And, old enough to accept all these changes in a person. I think the best time to get married in sometime in yoru 30's becasue by then you would have had enough life experiences to be able to pick a better partner than say when you were 20 and you would still have enough life and energy in you to enjoy the benefits of marriage.

communication and understanding. That's what I figured out so
far. If you are down, you need to get up and start doing something with
your life. Don't need to be shy, be straight forward and allways say what

whenever I feel that you are in love with somone who apperciate me for who I'm regarldless to my annoying habits . to somone who will be always there for me when I need him in hard time and good time too. beside all this romantic words about the one it will look unbelievable that this one every one can find .. well. I did and I wasn't lucky from the first time I get hurts a lots and i was blind to see that the love of my life was right in front of me every time I need somone to listen to share with me ..my stupidness in life my diary... my pains ,,, and finally when I noticed that I stopped dating and I loved my life .. starting to put my feet on the right track he was the only one who helped me .. who was the only one I felt free to talk to .. he was everything I imagined in the one I want to get murried .. you'll probly wonder why now not before lets say I was sele girl looking for the good looking guys ..the cool ones... he was a computer freek to me but I looked inside in his spirtual .. he was a prince charming for me ... now I'm 20 years old and we are engaged .. though my family think we are too young to get murried .. we didn't care all we want to do is to be togther forever so what I'm trying to say you never too young or too old to get murried once you find the love of your life.....
