Hi!

Thank God for your boldness to ask this...it is unfortunate some of the people who answered here do not know that wear MORALITY does MATTER TO GOD...

Yes, it has become too liberal and evil! One of the ex-witches who is now born-again confessed that most of the IMMORAL FASHION DESIGNS are composed IN THE UNDERWORLD (Hell)...

Reasons why I say God considers WEAR MORALITY:

1. In my experience, Song Praise and worship sessions that are lead by women who wear clothes that reveal the shape of their body have NOT REALLY BEEN REVIVING! The Holy Spirit seems to be disturbed when worshipers in church(especially men) cannot focus on Him because of the seductively-attractive appearance of the Praise and Worship team who lead the songs.

John the Baptist said "Jesus must increase and he must decrease".Immediately Praise and Worship team members take the glory because of their attractive wear, then God will withdraw for He will not share His glory with lustful looking Praise and Worship team members.

2. After sin entered into the picture, God saw a need to clothe Adam and Eve:

Genesis 3:21 "And the LORD God made for Adam and for his wife garments of skins and clothed them."

The reason God made them clothes was that they had become ashamed of their nakedness because their eyes were now open to the "subject of morality"...It probably felt uncomfortable for them to walk around without clothes...

The Lord clothed them but Satan wants people to walk half-naked...A sign of Satan's presence is seen more when there is an opposition of what God has made.God clothed them and Satan undresses them!

3. The bible tells us about moral wear:

1Tim 2:9 "likewise also that women should adorn themselves in respectable apparel(clothes)..."

The question is, What is "RESPECTABLE CLOTHES"?

According to the Adam and Eve scenario in Gen 3:21, clothes:

1. that cover the body because leather(God used leather) is thicker than the modern "stretcher tight jeans" and tight muscle T-shirts...Someone might say "..but leather would be too hot for us"...Well, then, buy clothes that do not reveal the shape of your body!

It is an accepted fact that the body of a woman is attractive to a man...Clothes that are revealing enhance this and therefore encourages both mental "fornication and Adultery and mental fornication and Adultery!

Someone may argue that "it means men have a problem" if they keep looking at women who wear immorally, but my answer to them is "you are insulting God's wisdom in making a man's eye to be attracted to a body of a woman"...

Well some men need deliverance from "lust" but that is not the point...For as long as there is few who do not have problem with lust but still get attracted to a body of a woman, then women ought to wear "moral" clothes because some of the behaviors, including clothing ones, may cause others to sin:

1Co 8:10-11 "For if anyone sees you who have knowledge eating in an idol's temple, will he not be encouraged, if his conscience is weak, to eat food offered to idols?

And so by your knowledge this weak person is destroyed, the brother for whom Christ died."

Brothers and Sisters, let us not destroy others who are weak in church by immoral clothes!

Hug!

I think that some people dress too provocative when going to church. Women shouldn't wear spaghetti strapped tank tops and low rise jeans to church, no matter what their age is. I don't think that it should be a fashion show either, nor should it be a contest to see who can wear the most expensive dress or suit. God doesn't care what we have on, it is what is in our hearts that is His concern.
At our church for example, we used to always dress up, but the church has now changed and we wear casual clothes. The meaning behind this is that there were alot of people intimidated because they didn't have anything (in their minds) that was good enough to wear to church. This way, with a casual dress code all will feel welcome.

No not at all. Many people who go to church now wouldn't have if they thought they had to compete with others style of dress. It's much more important to be in church to worship not to put on a fashion show. No where in the Bible does it specify what one should wear to worship the Lord.

No, I Believe people try to say it matters what you wear, as long as your decent, And not dressing to Impress, I think anything is fine, I would rather go to church comfortable, Instead of buying all those fancy clothes to wear to church, why not give the money to something or someone In need, we don`t need pantyhose, or ties, or a different pair of shoes to match every outfit we own, thats not gonna get us to heaven, we need to go for the right reasons, and stop going to show off our new clothes.

I think it should not be a church decision. But the individual should have enough respect for themselves to remember where they are. But there are still a lot of lost souls and ultimately that is the bigger picture.

One reason I quit going to church is because they tried to prevent me from using Roquefort dressing.
