Wafer thin came in a red package, foil wrapped, around the early 70's, if i remember right it was only sold via vending machines???

I think it was just called Caramel - that's if the wrapper was both red & gold. The writing was in block capitals, I don't think these were made by one of the big 3 chocolate companies (Cadbury's, Mars and Nestle). My Dad used to eat these, and has recently seen them being sold in our local ASDA again.

The only one i can think of is caramel
Thye sell them in multipacks at Asda
They are in a red and gold packaging
