I say take the baby to a doctor, in the meantime while you prepare to get her there, You can cut up RAW YELLOW onions and a tad of garlic (if you have the garlic - otherwise the onion will do) with a little pickling salt into a fine mash or blend it in a blender ... and stuff her socks with it and put the socks back on her feet. If it don't help in a couple hours - you need to see a doctor.
Raw unfiltered honey works well too ... yes, even for babies - don't use the store bought crap that looks pretty - it is junk, if it is only 1% honey and 99% syrups - they can legally call it honey ... use only honey that is not heated over 125 degrees F., and that which is minimally filtered ... BEST TO GET HONEY COMB ... this way you know it is right.
Never cook with honey either as it turns it into an undigestible mess that really screws up the body. Get a humidifyer and some eucaliptis essential oil and that will kill viruses and bacteria while opening her up ...and you too.
get her to a doctor

bless her heart-she is probably just miserable!! colds are viral so there is no cure and they take about 14 days to clear.
you can use pediacare infant decongestant drops to help relieve her symptoms.
dosing as follows:
6-11 months 0.8ml (1 dropper) every 4-6 hours
12-23 months 1.2ml (1 1/2 droppers) every 4-6 hours
2-3 years 1.6ml (2 droppers) every 4-6 hours
do not exceed more than 4 doses in 24 hours
also when bathing her-use Johnson's soothing vapor bath-this will help open her nasal passages to help her breathe better and will also relax her to help her sleep. do not use the regular vicks on her though-it's not recommended for children under the age of 2 b/c it's too potent for a baby's system.
use a warm mist humidifier in her room at night while she sleeps. this will keep the air from drying out and prevent her little nose from getting too stuffy.
make sure she is drinking plenty of fluids. don't worry about her not wanting to eat so much-little ones don't have much of an appetite when sick. try to avoid giving her dairy products as these will congest her more. you can try giving her pedialyte if she won't eat or drink much of anything-this will help to keep her from getting dehydrated
good luck and i hope your little angel feels better soon

Make sure that the condition is not cronic.
We have to take x-ray and check out for pneumonia if the condition is chronic. WIthout examination no one can give any suggestion.
The only best solution is Prevention is better than cure.
If got cold treat it in the initially in the early stage itself
Good Health

do you have any way to get her to medical care There is no way of knowing what it is unless checked If doctor says its just a virus and needs to run its course then OK be patient and report back to doctor as he/she has directed you to. Some minor colds and viruses build up our immunity and thus have a purpose.
