Since the findings of the Heart Foundation Research, has it put you off eating crisps. I have a bag almost every day, however this week I didnt by any, as couldnt believe it would amount to all that cooking oil being consumed each year. I love crisps though.

Ive always eaten crisps , in my twenties i went through a phase of buying in boxes of 48 pkts and used to eat them within a week
Ive never been fat and i am of average weight for my size it all depends on your own body and exercise you take
Ive found the flavours are more addictive if you want to cut down just eat plain crisps stay away from the flavours plus who knows what they put in them
anything you eat over a year can be scare mongered into totals of this and that just eat sensibly and varied and don't end up like me a crisp addict

Crisp eating has remained constant. Have you seen that new ad campaign with the kid drinking a bottle of cooking oil? Nice!

I love crisps, but only have them very occasionally now. I used to live in a barrack block, and bought crisps from the naafi fairly regularly, but now I live in a flat, and have to buy my own groceries, so crisps aren't in my basket as I can control what and when I eat now, (mess times aren't set by me, b/fast was at 7am, lunch at 11am, dinner at 5pm), so no snacks halfway through the evening anymore.

Oddly enough, I used to get through one of those 18-pack bags every week, and then for no reason whatsoever, I stopped buying them. I didn't miss them, and I've not touched one now for well over a year, so when that scare report came out about them, I just sat and laughed. I was eating a 400g box of Maltesers at the time and followed them by half litre of chocolate ice cream, so you can see how bothered I am about the whole thing...........!!!!
What intrigues me is what are they going to come up with next?

since seeing the image of someone drinking a bottle of oil I have not eaten a bag of crisps. I proabably will eat them again but no where near the quantity that I used to!

I haven't read about the findings of the Heart Foundation, which is good because I can carry on enjoying my crisps.

I looooooove crisps. Would never give them up. A bag every day is a bit excessive though, but I really could do with some skips now!

yes i did a survey this morning and it had a question about the new ad the heart foundation is putting out. it has a girl between 8-12 drinking from one of those big oil bottles, with all the oil running down her front, its sick but hopefully will have the right impact.

EXCUSE ME! I need to get a life do I? I'm very sorry for trying to keep the English language alive and well. People as rude as you should not be allowed to use these sites. If you do not agree with what's being asked in a question, why bother answering? Nobody want's to hear the kind of thing you have to say. Sounds like you need to get a life darlin' not me, and do a bit of growing up too! Calling me anal like that, who the hell do you think you are? You're pathetic!
