nope. for chemicals and stuff to work you need water, cause water is a good dissolver and it has some special properties. Because of its polar bonding or something like that and the fact that living organisms need 5 important elements for life, (CHONPS) water is needed in most things.

Actually, milk or dairy products will calm the fire of spicy foods far better than water will.
A shower saves far more water than a bath does - whilst a shower does rather force the use of water, just keep it short, and lower the pressure.
Clothes and dishes can technically be washed in sand...but I wouldn't want to.
According to Star Trek (and other SF shows), one day we'll all be taking sonic showers, and replicating stuff - but that could be unlikely.
I'm not sure how NASA deals with the issue for astronauts - clearly showers are inpractical in microgravity, and would be VERY wasteful of water. So perhaps NASA are the folks to answer!

Though spicy foods contain water the direct supply of water is needed.
Water reacts with dirt which is hydrophbic in nature. So cannot replace it in taking a shower or for washing dishes.
As for taking medications water can be replaced by juice, or your preferences.
Besides water is so abundent, so why think about replacing it?

The most complicated ones would be taking a shower and washing dishes unless you use disposable ones, which wouldn't be very environmentally friends.. You can take your clothes to the dry cleaners.

while eatin spicy foods and you drink water, that will make the stinging worse. i recommend you drink milk because it neutralises the tastebuds and therefore makin the stinging go away.
taking shower, washin clothes and dishes - only water. takes all the grime n grit away.
medication: milk, dont recommend alcohol with medication, you can take food instead of water or just take it separately

Drink milk with spicy foods. Drink tea with medicine, take a bath in milk instead of a shower, good enough for Cleopatra........wash clothes in urine, they did this in Roman times, that just leaves washing dishes!

Yes,if you are referring to pure water. For example, you can drink milk with spicy food and "dry clean" your clothes.
Ultimately, because about 90% of your body is water, you can't survive without it.

This is a good question, since water is in such short supply. In some remote sections of India, they shower with pudding.
