Im courting a girl and she is really shy so i want to get suggestions of what can i do to make her feel comfortable with me. Can i open the door of her car when she arrives will she feel happy? The driver is her grandfather. And what turns you off with a guy please help.

DO: Pamper her, (TRULY) Listen to her, Look her in the face when complimenting her (shows your sincerity), keep the relationship fresh (dont fall into the "old relationship rut"), forgive, compromise
DONT: Dwell on the past (Yours OR hers), make idle promises, lie, cheat, or hide anything (honesty and trust are the most important thing for the foundation of a good lasting relationship)

Small things like opening a door and letting her walk in first do make a difference.... but don't go overboard. I think oncfe you are sincere with this girl and she knows she can trust you, she'll come out of her shell, try to include her into conversations also, ask her questions about what other people are saying, get her to mingle with others and not only you..... it's a confidence thing. Be patient too, she won't get confident overnight.

You've gotta be very very careful not to overdo certain things like opening the car doors. There's a very thin line between looking desperate and appearing to be caring.
If you are still at the courtship stage, send her flowers and chocolates. Tell her how pretty she looks the moment you meet her. Tell her how sweet her perfume scent is. Remember not to over flatter, otherwise she'll think you are a mere sweet talker.
I personally get really turned off when a guy tries too hard to 'act gentlemanly'. So maybe she'll not like it when you appear to be overly caring.

A sense of humor is a big plus. It shows that you have a personality. Polite and caring are great, but your personality will prove if you will get along or not. I can't speak for anyone shy though.
