digdugs, "Oahspe" is not intended to be an addition to the Book of Revelations of the old Bible, even if it is couched in King James style language.

I have read the book of oahspe 3 times and I find it pretty interesting. It seem to make a little more sense than the bible. I like it ideas in it. but some of it doesn't make sense. I think it is very interesting about some of the flying ships in the book. so if ya'll can get a chance to read it . But read it for yourself and just don't just it as a nother cult before you read it.

When anybody offers a new testament besides the one Christ already gave us just read the end of Revelation.

If any one adds to this book I will add to him the plagues desribed in the book.

I haven't read it, but I will at some point--it sounds intriguing. There's not a thing wrong with re-interpreting older ideas in light of a current culture, and it can certainly help to make those ideas more accessible to people unfamiliar with them.
