Italy seems to be one of the most laid back and welcoming countries I've been to. And I have been to many!

The only countries I've been to outside the US are Italy, Egypt, and Turkey. Italy and Turkey are beautiful and you have a lot of freedom there, and the people are generally welcoming and very hospitalble. In Egypt, people are also very hospitable, however they work very hard to keep tourists protected and separate from the general population. If you're fine with being with a group of tourists the whole time, then Egypt is a great place, but if you want more of an individual experience then I suggest Turkey and Italy.

well... almost all answerers said their country is the most hospitable. thats the common answer. why dont u try to visit indonesia, especially west java? first, the people may seems afraid of you (more, if you have blonde hair and caucasians face), but then u'll be very welcomed here. coz there are so many ethnic lives in indonesia, they usually - and always - respect others opinion and privacy. :)

From my experience and what have heard many people say, the country called Uganda in East Africa is one of the most hospitable in the world.
This is where you will receive a welcome from adults to kids. You can get directions, people are willing to help a visitor in all sections
