A few points to note:

1. Racisims towards Westerners - White people are not that warmly welcomed to say the least

2. Rich and poor gap - like in everywhere, if you have enough money, nothing material / physical things would bother you - you can have a good life anywhere including SA.

3. Guns proliferation - yes, they do and still have guns, but in the main areas, the security are generally good.

4. Rape - it happens really often in SA - When people say, "Ladies beware", it is true.

5. Aids - for those people who are looking for a few nights of hella fun while living in SA, please use condoms and other means of protections, as Aids is literally killing one-third of the SA population.

6. Ecomonic boom - yes, SA's ecomony is in much better shape than most of the other Afrian nations, despite rampant cases of corruptions. Business opportunities can be great and investors are very much weclomed by the government. As for employment opportunities, there are high levels jobs available, but of these people are sent to SA by their companies rather than them starting low from SA herself.


Africa needs a lot of help, and SA can be a shining example to the rest of the nations in Africa. So, when you think of migrating to SA, please do not just think about how you can have a good time/life there, but also spare a thought for how you can help the people through your business investment, your donations to charities, you voluntarism and/or your work duties.

It's going downhill fast. And by the way the white man did not spend 400 years ruining it. He built it up - in 300 years.
Read some of the history of the place as written by Lieutenant Farewell.

I find it strange that when whites attempt to develop a country and are succesful, they are then demonised as racist etc. and told to hand it over.

Stay tuned. 40% of South Africa's population is under 15 years old. Just wait until they start voting and decide thay don't want the ANC any more.

Reverse racism is a big problem, so if you are white it might not be the best place. Economically they are doing better than the past couple years but still not great. Poverty is a big problem, but in comparison to the rest of Africa they are doing great.

Africa as a whole has a lot of problems.

I know a few white people who have come here from South Africa. They are professionals but were driven out by black racists. They tell me crime is out of control just like it is in the UK.

Evidently not, as most of white South Africa now lives around me in Southvelt, sorry, Southfields, London.

Funny how white South Africans spent 400 years ruining SA, then, when black South Africans finally gain democracy in their own continent, the whites can't handle it and leave. You ruined it, guys, you stay around and help to fix it.

if you are white i wouldnt recomend it i have family out there whos friends were murdered recently, ireckon that would fall under security or lack thereof
