Sure. But, don't use diapers on the baby, just strap a pot onto its bottom.

If it doesn't tell you on the box..call a LaLeche League in you area. They will be happy to give you all the information you want ..free of charge. They are who I used when I had a question in that area when I breastfed my babies.

I would not suggest it, it will cross in the milk and soften baby stools as well as yours. Best stick with dietary aids- prunes, prune juice, or corn. Or whatever your personal system irritant is. Anything you take the baby takes- so unless a doctor recommends it don't take it.

you NEED and MUST ask your OB/GYN and doctor about that one... You don't need to be taking advise online from strangers who may claim they "know" what they are talking about or "say" they are a doctor.
Your best bet to keep you and your baby healthy is to ask your doctor this question, all it takes is a phone call... it'll take you 5 minutes and it could save your lives.

For me personally, I don't use anything medicated as you never know what reaction it will cause in my baby. If you have to rather speak to you doc or chemist!
