And science is right in this case. But obviously science isn't always right. At one time science told us that the earth was flat. The difference between science and religion is that science welcomes questioning. Religion does not. When you publish a paper in a scientific journal your findings are submitted to a board of review that questions the results. Depending on the journal you might have to go through 3 different reviews before they will even publish your paper. Religion does not want you to raise the difficult questions. Just look at how insane religious people get on here any time you pose a really hard theological question.

What does it mean to "believe in" science? Is this some sort of religious idea?
If you study the Philosophy of Science (how do we know that we know what we know?), then you will be able to form a clearer opinion about the strengths and weaknesses of the scientific method. It is important for all thinking people to be able to discriminate good science from bad.

Science says exactly the opposite, except in this case "science" is a magazine called "Popular Mechanics" (and is anybody else out there sick to death of all these nonsense conspiracy theories???). Just because somebody posts something to a website does NOT mean it is true - the "Heaven's Gate" suicide cult had a website too... remember? Were they right, or are they just dead?

That is not Science. No experiments were conducted to prove that. It was just someone's opinion.

we dont believe in science, bcos somebody says. science is a self correcting persuit of truth. it's not connected to 9/11 in anyway.
there's some truth behind 9/11. if not directly, america indirectly caused it, because it brought up bin laden & fed him all the way. america encouraged terrorism & instigated violence in many places.
