I have an event in three weeks, and need to slim down a bit before it! Say I ate salads for 3 weeks, and exercised more, would I notice any weight loss?
I know 3 weeks away is leaving it a bit late :P

Sorry, saying just salad was stupid- I was rushing. I mean more like cutting out all junk, eating lots of fruits and vegetables, grilled chicken breasts, fish, salads, things like that!

It completely depends on your current calories intake and what you are planning to be consuming now

Define a salad. If you are talking about lettuce and tomatoes, you will feel tired and irritable at best...maybe lose a couple of pounds.
You need whole protein like lentils and rice or lean meat of some kind (and I'm not talking about cold cuts here). Also make sure you're getting the necessary vitamins and minerals especially potassium if you are eating foods with a dieuretic effect like grapefruit.
Avoid starches or carbohydrates such as pasta, white bread, potatoes etc. Try to eat whole grain foods. Anything with sugar is out too.
Keep on exercising but don't overdo it....maybe 20 minutes a day.
you should drop 10 - 15 pounds in the 3 week period but you won't notice much weight loss in the first week. The body has to adjust to the change.
Good luck with the program.

Honestly...? No. In fact, putting all those raw greens into you may even cause you to bloat (I know this happens with me).
To really have an impact, you'll have to remove unhealthy, calorie-packed foods from your diet, and make this a permanent change.
In the meantime, get a bodyshaper or some other smoothing all-in-one foundation garment, which will pare off an inch or so, and make you feel more confident.
The, after your event, go home and throw out the potato chips and Cocoa Puffs. *sigh*.

Hi there,
I have seen people around me using this product called herbalife and they keep on losing weight. I havnt used the product because i am not over weight but i would recomend that you give it a shot. I have seen people losing 10 kg in 6-8 weeks. It is also healthy and supplies all the nutritional requirements of the body.

depends on your metabolism, but, nothing significant. the key to dieting is persistance, need to start a regimine and stick to it for a whille. After three weeks of eating healthy and exersize you will feel a big change in yourself physically, but you are not going to be able to lose more than 10-12 pounds max if you bust your *** hard everyday depending on what you weigh now
