I usually really enjoy your questions but this one is really out of context. What that scripture means is that the narrators mother conceived him in sin. The narrator was talking about original sin and not that sex itself was a sin. Since most religious people believe that life begins at the act of conception original sin is passed on at that moment.

In all fairness to Satanist 9 out of 10 church going christians would have a hard time disagreeing with the idea that sex is sinful or at least wrong. What do you believe Satanist?

Hi.

Please go read some LaVey and understand what he's saying before you start attaching the word "Satanist" to yourself. I don't think you understand what the word means, and you're giving a lot of perfectly respectable Satanists a bad name.

Thank you.

ETA: Tears30, the Satanic Bible was written by Anton LaVey in the 1960's. It's not even really a religious text; it's more a form of spiritual humanism. Pretty interesting read, even if LaVey was a rather clumsy writer.

There are a great and many things said in the Bible to be sinful. Murder among them. The same god commanded them to slaughter men, women, and children though. Peaceful, loving god, huh? Vengeance is his. hahahaha

Your scripture is in English. The Bible wasnt written in English, so you have a mistransliteration anyway.

You dolt. Where in those seven words does it say God considers women to be sinful? What about the passage Be fruitful and multiply? You really can't just take half a passage and then say Aha look this proves my point. What book of the bible is the passage taken from? I believe the writer is referring to how he was conceived not that he was conceived. Wow how can you grasp for such weak straws?

You silly little girl.

When you come up with proof that ALL Christianity is b#llocks at least ATTEMPT to reference your work. The reference you gave was useless. So I took it upon myself to look it up. It is a Psalm so the reference is Psalm 51:5.
I am NOT christian but I have read the passage and you are WRONG little girl. It's all about redemption not sex.

The Puritans were right! Lucky for you, there's a religion that allows all sorts of sins, at half price!

lol you make it sound like non-christians are normally incapable of reading the Bible.

I think they also believe the baby's conception to be sinful - as it causes a great deal of pain to the mother.

Oh well. I'm still stuck trying to figure out why christians who get divorced still believe they're going to heaven.

Edit: 2 things...
