Count the calories, you can buy a book on counting calories almost anywhere for about $5,also eat from all the food groups, drink lots of water & of course exercize. If your not losing(don't cheat,if you eat a candy bar then COUNT it)then go down to 1200 calories a day. It'll probably be harder the first couple days but the hunger pains will subside. You have to stop thinking about food, also seriously, does it feel any worse to be a little hungary, then how it feels when you have overate?!?!

Hi,
Actually you have to count BOTH fat and calories. I noticed someone already mentioned www.fitday.com. I've used that and it was okay. Another one is www.sparkpeople.com. I like that one even better! Its free to join, you can track your foods, and there are loads of normal people (LOADS of young over weight people!!) to provide nutritional info and help you reach your goals.
The website will provide you a meal by meal diet or you can enter your own. They give you goals (optional). Its really a good program and FREE!
Hope that helps.

check the label for total calories note that per serving requires checking the serving size and bulk produce can often be found by searching the web for caloric tables ....no fat to low fat is smart and vegetable content in caloric intake works best that's
high fiber whole grains moderate fruits avoid meats fats dairy
Good luck! zero fat cals to 12% or at the most 17% fat as long as its not trans fat which is never good or hydrolyzed which is not good time and practice makes perfect just take the first step and u will find out in time..........Good luck

I say scrap the whole calorie counting thing.
Focus on eating foods high in vitamins and minerals. Eat a variety of these foods, and prepare as many of them as you can at home.
Try and exercise as much as you can...
You cant go wrong.

u want to lose weight rite? 1300 is too much. about 1000 if u really want to lose weight... just eat more vege, lean meat, fruits especially berries,strawberries,cranberries..soya bean.. those with high protein.. n eat fatty foods in moderation.. counting calories is important.. just make sure per serving does not exceed 300.. then it will be fine.. :)

count selection the generic energy - one hundred sixty. energy from fat are useful to be attentive to considering you may not consume meals that have greater suitable than one million/3 of their energy from fat. as an occasion, your cereal has one hundred sixty energy according to serving and 25 are from fat. it fairly is unquestionably under 30%. on the different hand, I only ate a KitKat which has 220 energy, a hundred of them from fat - greater suitable than 50%! for sure not a healthful snack.
