Hello!! :o) I have to say 'false'. [On both ideas] I often wonder if we have ANY control over what happens. I sometimes feel like I'm a pawn in a game of chess. And MY side isn't doing so well. lol As for the afterlife... although I don't understand it - I DO believe that a person will be better off IF they accept God and Jesus - than if they don't. I do NOT believe - however - that man is so powerful that by merely thinking something is true - MAKES it true. OR that by thinking something is NOT true - MAKES it NOT true. [Did that answer your question?! lol] Have a great day!! Craig!! :o)

The first half is true but I think the second one needs modification:
Life is what you make of it and the afterlife is the harvest of what you did in your life. True or false?

I believe the entire idea of heaven and hell were simply created by the church as a means to controll the masses.
Consider this:
The threat of hell makes most religious people stop and consider things they're about to do if those things are less than moral.
The idea of heaven gives a purpose to life. If you do not believe in heaven, but instead believe as I do (that when you die, you become part of the earth again), you really don't have all that much to look forward to when your life is over. Enter heaven, stage left, and boom, you have a goal; a reason to live a good life.
These are the main reasons why I do not begrudge anyone their religion. It does teach people to try and do right, and not wrong, but personally, I still think that most of what is in the bible (written by the church, no less) is simply a way of retaining power over the people who worship under them.

What actually happens after life is what actually happens wether one believes it or not.
Most peoples view of an afterlife is nothing more than the continuation of what they experience in this life.

About as true as anything can be, until you die and find out for sure about the afterlife.

Totally true and a really great way to look at it as well.
No one knows FOR CERTAIN what happens in "the after life" and your life before is most definatly what you make it by way of your choices and actions.
Thank you for that postive thought, just before bed. Now, I can forget about the darn "lying or the truth" question....DOOHHHH!!!

true to first part the false to second cuz the outcome is going to be what it is not what you belive it to be. Just like I believe it;s going to be sunny tomorrow, well possibly that is that outcome but it might not be, its' not in my hands
