No-one knows.
The iraquis haven't been counted, but we know the morgues have been full to overflowing since day 1.
The count of dead Americans is totally skewed to keep it low, by counting only those who die while fighting. Anyone who dies in a hospital is not counted, so there are likely over 5000 dead Americans.
I'd guess probably half a million or more.

The number doesn't matter. The number will not say anything for the lives of the individuals and their families. Every death is an atrocity. But necessary.
I lost my best friend in Iraq in June of 04, so has more of a personal thing for me.

They say the death toll of U.S soldiers is now equal to the total of people that died on 9/11. And that was announced maybe a week ago..

For what?
I've always wondered ........ If Saddam had been running a nation a non-oil producing nation like say, Iceland.....would they have invaded them?
I'm guessing the answer would be "no".
